Low Carb Picnic & Party dishes.
Something tells me that Silly Season will be starting a little early this year as we’re all extra excited to catch up with our favourite people and enjoy spending time together, I mean let’s face it... IT HAS BEEN A YEAR, right? (or 2 - but who’s counting?)
A lot of us have spent months apart from our favourite people, and whilst we had other ways to stay connected, nothing beats sitting among your favourite people, eating, drinking and just being around them.
People connect with food, there is no doubt about that. I know I’ve been thinking of coffee catch ups’, dinners, cocktails & nibbles, BBQ’s & picnics in the park and heading out to my favourite restaurants and cafes - SO MANY ways to catch up with my faves!
So how do we get back into the social swing of things and still feel our best?
Take a plate to meet your mates! Such a fun thing to say, but the idea behind it is to make your favourite people smile and what better way to do this than with something delicious!
So what will you be taking?
You can usually get a pretty good idea of what sort of food to bring, based on what time of day it’s planned for and the invite itself, but if you feel stuck - just ask the host if they’d like you to bring something.
Side plates that everyone would love to try - There are so many fantastic recipes for salads and veggie side dishes online that you can find. I’ve listed a few to help make searching easier...click the links to view more of their recipes.
