The Best Low Carb Dips
I don’t know about you, but enjoying cheese, crackers and dip on a Friday evening is one of my favourite things in the world.
Nothing beats homemade anything in most cases and if you have the time to make your dips from scratch, go for it, there are great recipes here.
However, for those who are after convenience, you may find our list of low carb dips helpful!
Finding the right dip is a very personal thing. I don’t really mind if the carbs are slightly higher (I love Obela’s range of dips) So if none of the one's we've listed grab you, enjoy your faves!
A couple of these are just over 5g, but I think if you can find a great brand for Hummus and Tzatziki, which are normally way higher it was worth adding to the list, so I did!
Tips for choosing keto/ low carb friendly dips.
- Look for dips with 5g carbs per 100g or less.
- Choose dips that have the most real food ingredients and no added sugar (where possible)
- A lot of dips have Canola oil as the first ingredient. Might be handy to check the ingredients if this is an oil you are wishing to avoid.
Note: Most ready-made dips have some sort of preservatives and stabilisers in them.

This time around, I picked a selection from each brand and supermarket in a variety of flavours. Flavours varied from store to store. e.g Woolworths in Marrickville had other flavours that Leichhardt Woolies didn't have.
