Run, run as fast as you can and bake a batch of our Protein Gingerbread men. Enjoy a Christmassy treat for under 5g of carbs per cookie.

1/2 packet (175g) of Protein Cookie Mix
1 Tbsp (10g) of ground ginger
1 tsp (5g) all spice
80g (1/3 cup) melted butter
2 Tbsp (40ml) milk
1/4 cup (40g) Anna's Low Carb Icing Mix or sweetener of choice
Ginger bread cookie cutter
Mini M&M's for the buttons
Icing for decorating
1Preheat oven at 160°C and line a flat baking tray with baking paper.
2Combine dry ingredients - Protein Cookie Mix, spices, sweetener in a bowl
3In another bowl combine the melted butter and milk and add to dry mixture and mix well
4In between two pieces of baking paper roll out the 'dough' to approx 5 mm.
5Cut out your cookies and place onto the lined tray
6Bake for 15 min. or until golden.
2Icing was purchased from Woolies and a packet of mini m&m's
3Pipe onto your cookies and dress with the red or green buttons. (m&ms)
