Protein Waffle Ice Cream Sandwich

This Peanut Butter Halo Waffle sandwich is a fun little treat that still packs a decent amount of Protein 13.4g

1/4 cup (30 g) Protein Pancake Mix 2 egg whites or 1 whole egg 50 mL milk of your choice --Filling 50g (2 heaped tablespoons) Halotop Peanut Butter Flavour Ice Cream 1/2 sliced banana hazelnuts to garnish (optional)

Combine the Protein Pancake Mix, eggs and milk in a medium mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Lightly spray the waffle machine with oil and allow to heat up. While it’s heating up, in a non-stick pan, brown the sliced banana over medium heat. Pour the mixture into the waffle machine, then close the lid and allow to cook for 60-90 seconds. Once the waffles are ready, place in the fridge for 5 minutes to cool so the ice cream doesn’t melt! Grab one waffle, top with ice cream and browned banana. Place the other waffle on top and press down to join both sides. Cut the wafflewich in half and top with crumbled hazelnuts to serve
