Low Carb Pizza Base

On the hunt for a delicious, healthy low carb pizza base recipe? Then look no further! The recipe below makes 1 large 12" pizza base. Enjoy your guilt free, low carb pizza! Once you've made the base, just add your favourite low carb toppings :)

3/4 cup (80g) of Protein Pizza Base Mix 3 large eggs or 180g of egg white 1/4 cup (60ml) water 1 tbsp olive oil

--First, make the bases Set your oven to 180 degrees celsius and preheat for 15 minutes. Line a 30cm pizza tray with baking paper (not greaseproof paper). Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and whisk to combine into a smooth liquid batter. The mixture will be quite thin rather than doughy, this is normal. Pour the mixture into the center of the pizza tray lined with baking paper, and spread it to the edges. You can use the back of a spoon to shape it evenly. Pop into the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown to pre-bake the bases, before adding the toppings. Note: it's really important to cook the pizza base before adding the toppings to make sure it's nice and crispy! --Second, make the Pizzas! Top the pre-baked pizza bases with your favourite pizza toppings Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the top starts to brown slightly Enjoy :)
