It works but...

It did produce great pancakes but, cinnamon in a pancake just tastes unpleasant. If they made a vanilla version they would be great and I would buy. It’s one of those polarising ingredients that you can’t remove once added. I would have thought that a readily available cheap ingredient like cinnamon would be something for those who do like it to add themselves, thus increasing market appeal of the product to a broader consumer base that would also include children.

BEST LOW CARB PANCAKES EVER

I have used this product for almost 2 years now, and I would have to say they're the best I've ever tried. Texture, taste and consistency, they're reliable and yummy and are so good paired with any additions, unlike some healthy pancake mixes out there that are too sweet or don't turn out! I have struggled in the past with not only making healthy pancakes myself (that flop nearly everytime), but finding something that tastes good and fits my nutrition goals, however since finding this mix, its changed everything. I do add a half scoop of my fav plant protein (it adds a bit more flavour and a touch of sweetness) and a dash more almond milk. A squeeze of lemon, and a side of coconut yoghurt and im set!!

Fabulous pancakes!

You can enjoy fluffy pancakes every day with our low carb Protein Pancakes that have no added sugar and only 3.6g of carbs per serve.

To make a serve of 3 Protein Pancakes, you’ll need:

  • 30g (¼ cup) Protein Pancake Mix
  • 60ml (¼ cup) milk of choice
  • 1 large egg

MIX – Using a whisk, thoroughly combine all the ingredients in a bowl, then let the mixture sit whilst you heat your pan.

PREPARE – Spray a non-stick fry pan with oil. Heat until almost smoking (this seals the pan and prevents sticking). Once hot, turn to low heat and wait for 30 seconds

PORTION – Spoon batter into the fry pan on a low heat, forming 3 pancakes approx. 10cm in diameter. Cook for 60-90 seconds or until you see bubbles appear.

FLIP – Carefully flip each pancake and cook the other side for a further 90 seconds or until golden.

STORAGE – Pancakes must be stored in a sealed container, in the fridge (1-4°C) for up to 5 days,
or freezer (-18°C ) for up to 3 months.
