- Protein Pancake Mix
The taste was fine but I found the texture a bit dry and crumbly, not quite like proper fluffy pancakes.
Hey Nora, Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your pancakes turned out dry and crumbly. Over mixing the batter can sometimes cause this? The trick to super fluffy pancakes is separating the egg yolk from the white. Combining the yolk and milk as per pack and add to the pancake mix. Then whisk the egg white until frothy, then fold it into the batter. Hope this helps. Cheers, Jo
I have searched high a low for a product like these, and I’m completely coverted. Love them and highly recommend them!! Do yourself a favour and buy them, you won’t regret it!
So pleased to hear that your search is over and your Pancake needs are met! haha. Thank you for your review, Bianca! We really appreciate it. Jo :)
It did produce great pancakes but, cinnamon in a pancake just tastes unpleasant. If they made a vanilla version they would be great and I would buy. It’s one of those polarising ingredients that you can’t remove once added. I would have thought that a readily available cheap ingredient like cinnamon would be something for those who do like it to add themselves, thus increasing market appeal of the product to a broader consumer base that would also include children.
Hi Linda. Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you aren't a fan of the cinnamon in our Protein Pancakes. We receive many positive reviews from people who love the flavour of our Pancakes, but of course, individual tastes do vary. We do have another pancake in our low carb range that does not contain cinnamon and still has quite high protein - I'll pop the link below in case this interests you - https://lovepbco.com/shop/low-carb-gluten-free-pancake-and-pikelet-mix/ Cheers, Jo :)
