It did produce great pancakes but, cinnamon in a pancake just tastes unpleasant. If they made a vanilla version they would be great and I would buy. It’s one of those polarising ingredients that you can’t remove once added. I would have thought that a readily available cheap ingredient like cinnamon would be something for those who do like it to add themselves, thus increasing market appeal of the product to a broader consumer base that would also include children.
Hi Linda. Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you aren't a fan of the cinnamon in our Protein Pancakes. We receive many positive reviews from people who love the flavour of our Pancakes, but of course, individual tastes do vary. We do have another pancake in our low carb range that does not contain cinnamon and still has quite high protein - I'll pop the link below in case this interests you - https://lovepbco.com/shop/low-carb-gluten-free-pancake-and-pikelet-mix/ Cheers, Jo :)
I have used this product for almost 2 years now, and I would have to say they're the best I've ever tried. Texture, taste and consistency, they're reliable and yummy and are so good paired with any additions, unlike some healthy pancake mixes out there that are too sweet or don't turn out! I have struggled in the past with not only making healthy pancakes myself (that flop nearly everytime), but finding something that tastes good and fits my nutrition goals, however since finding this mix, its changed everything. I do add a half scoop of my fav plant protein (it adds a bit more flavour and a touch of sweetness) and a dash more almond milk. A squeeze of lemon, and a side of coconut yoghurt and im set!!
Hey Abigail! We're so happy that you love our Pancakes and have been enjoying them for a few years. Thanks for your review and loyalty, we really appreciate it! Cheers, Jo
I started on keto a few months back and tried this product as was sick of bacon and eggs. It’s easy and delicious. I am hooked!
Hey Kellie! We're so pleased to hear that you can enjoy a break from bacon and eggs and dive into some Protein Pancakes. Thanks for your review. Cheers, Jo
