Lo Bros Organic Cola 🥃 Live Fermented Soda // Product Review
I'm always on the hunt for exciting new products that I can fit in and enjoy whilst living low carb and when I saw this handsome-looking bottle of Lo Bros Organic Cola sitting on the shelf, boy did I get excited!
The hook? "Naturally Low in Sugar" there it was, right on the front of the bottle in refreshing electric blue letters. I could almost feel my tongue starting to get excited by the notion of a sugar-free cola.
Over the years I've seen (and tried) numerous "sugar-free" soft drinks and more often than not, they don't taste very good, or the ingredients are so bad I'd rather just suck it up and eat the sugar directly!
So the question remains… is Lo Bros Organic Cola just like the rest… or does it have the knockout punch?
Let's find out!
So first things first, how does Lo Bros Organic Cola taste?
Freakin delicious – no joke. Lo Bros Organic Cola is super refreshing, sharp, crisp and with a hint of the fermented / kombucha style tang without being overpowering. It's got just a hint of sweetness which is perfect because once you've cut out sugar from your diet most things taste SUPER SWEET which is a huge turn-off. Not Lo Bros Organic Cola, however. Sweetness level nailed. ✅ Most importantly, some might argue, are the bubbles! Does it have that bubbly deliciousness that you've come to love from the mainstream soft drink manufacturers? Absolutely! I would rate the bubbly-ness at around 70% of CocaCola which for me is perfect.Bubblyness Meter: 70%

So, what is in Lo Bros Organic Cola?
The ingredients listed on my Lo Bros Organic Cola are:Fermented Base (Filtered Water, Green & Black Tea, Cultures), Apple Cider Vinegar (2%), SweetenersIngredients are taken from the packaging on the 1st October 2018 and may differ to what you see on yours. Ingredients wise that's pretty good if you ask me! There's nothing in there that you even need to look at twice which I think is really positive. It's great to see they've chosen to use the Erythritol & Stevia combo which is one of the best natural sugar replacers/sweeteners in terms of taste, insulin response and comfort for sensitive stomachs., Sugar, Spice & Citrus Extracts (Lemon, Orange, Cassia, Nutmeg, Ginger, Lime, Cinnamon) (<1%), Probiotics (<1%).
