Ingredients
- Ingredients for Mexican beef (serves 6)
- 1kg Beef Mince (we use the 3 star from Coles)
- 1 Tablespoon Masterfoods Mexican Seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon smokey paprika
- Optional additional chilli
- 1-2 handfuls Iceberg lettuce or lettuce mix
- 1 x chopped tomato,
- 1 x chopped small cucumber
- a handful of shredded cheese on top of salad.
Ingredients for salad base
Directions
method for EASY Mexican Beef
- Cook the beef mince first in a large saucepan – until cooked and liquids have evaporated.
Add in the spices, and cook a few more minutes.
Build your nacho bowl
- Prepare salad straight into the bowl. We recommend putting the lettuce down first as the base and cheese at the top :)
Place HOT beef on top of salad – this will melt the cheese. Add more cheese on top if you like.
Extra’s – Add sour cream, Avo or Guacamole, Coriander
Recipe Note
If making for more than one person simply multiply the salad base ingredients by how many people you are serving
If you cook up 1kg of the beef – this will get you 6-8 Serves – can keep the cooked beef in the fridge for 5 days or freezer for 3 months.
