PBCo. Low Carb Foods first came to life back in 2012 when as a cafe owner, I baked my own natural, low carb protein bread for customers who wanted better, healthier options.
Seeing how low carb foods helped my customers feel their best, I started exploring ways to make unhealthy foods, especially baked treats, healthy by removing the sugar and carbs. Whilst our products have rapidly evolved over the past 8 years, My vision is still the same, and still very simple .

Fast forward 8 years, now with a busy business and a very active toddler, I love and rely on our natural low carb products to give me the energy and stamina to do my best, each and every busy day. Over the years I’ve also witnessed low carb change the lives of thousands of customers – from weight loss, increased energy, reduced medications and a larger zest for life – reducing carbs and sugar in your diet is life changing.

Carbs are found in many foods including traditional breads, potatoes,
pasta, rice, cereal, honey, fruit and even milk!
Carbohydrates consist of 2 components – Starch and Sugar (glucose). When carbohydrate foods are eaten and digested, the body breaks these down into glucose. (Glucose is the simplest form of sugar). So, even if you eat a product that claims to be “Sugar Free” or “Low Sugar” but it has carbs in, the carbs will break down in your body to become sugar anyway.

THIS is why Low Carb is the only way to guarantee a truly low sugar lifestyle.
You may be aware that you should avoid foods containing added sugars, but didn’t know that foods such as bread, pasta and rice also end up as sugar in your body! These foods will raise blood sugars just as sugar or honey does. This is why low carb matters.
As an example, bread & orange juice don’t taste sugary sweet, but eating 2 slices (of traditional bread) or a glass of orange juice provides us with the same amount of sugar as scooping 6 teaspoons from the sugar bowl.
