Anna grew up on soy milk, as when she was younger she had an allergy to dairy. Even though she can tolerate dairy now, she still prefers the taste of soy milk.

While there is a lot of information on the internet about soy not being good for you, it may be the non-dairy alternative that works for you, and it is also low carb. As always it comes down to choosing the right brand and personal preference – and that is why this why we have created this review for you.

  • One of the brands for low carb soy milk we found that literally has NO ADDED SUGAR. Anna’s fave!
  • It has a beautiful creamy nutty flavour that I LOVE in my tea.
  • Best ingredients list of the bunch.

Australia’s Own Soy Milk

Filtered water, whole organic soybeans 4.7%, sunflower oil, salt, mineral salt, vegetable gum (carrageenan)

Carbs per 100ml: 0.4g

  • Another low carb option that is high in protein, which is great.
  • It contains carrageenan which has a bit of a bad wrap.
  • The amount of soy is 3 times lower than other brands, so I’m not sure how creamy this would be.

Filtered water, whole organic soybeans 19%, minerals, natural flavour and sea salt.

Carbs per 100ml: 2.2g

  • Another low carb option that is high in protein, which is great.
  • It goes very well in a smoothie (only way I have tried it).
  • One of the highest amount of soy. Great in tea, super creamy.
