You can enjoy fluffy pancakes every day with our low carb Protein Pancakes that have no added sugar and only 3.6g of carbs per serve.
To make a serve of 3 Protein Pancakes, you will need:
- 1/4 cup of Protein Pancake Mix (30g)
- 1/4 cup milk of choice (60ml)
- 1 large egg (or 50mL egg whites)
Mix – Using a whisk, combine all ingredients in a bowl, then let batter sit whilst you heat your pan.
Prepare – Spray a non-stick frypan with oil. Heat until almost smoking (this seals the pan and prevents sticking). Once hot, turn to low heat and wait for 30 seconds.
Portion – Spoon batter into the frypan on a low heat, forming 3 pancakes approx 10cm in diameter. Cook for 60-90 seconds or until the bubbles appear.
Flip – Carefully flip each pancake and cook the other side for a further 90 seconds or until golden brown.
Storage – Pancakes must be stored in the fridge (1-4°C) for up to 5 days, or can be frozen (-18°C) in freezer bags for up to 3 months.
