Protein Poppyseed Bagels

Our Protein Poppyseed Bagel recipe is our low carb spin on a breakfast classic and is super quick to make. Have them in and out of the oven topped with your favourite toppings in under 30mins 😍 These are super low carb, Soy & Gluten Free!

  • Yields 6 bagels


 1/2 a pack (165g) of Protein Bread Mix

 220ml water

 1 large egg

 1 TB of poppy seeds


 If you don't have poppy seeds, you can use any seed you like!


 You can use any of our bread mixes for this recipe. If you do use one other than what is listed, you will need to recalculate the nutrition, if you are tracking macros :)


1Preheat oven to 180 degrees and spray a doughnut tray or line it with baking paper

2In a bowl add ½ the packet of the bread mix, and in a separate bowl combine the water and egg and whisk together. Add the wet mix to the dry mix and combine well.

3Spoon the mixture into the doughnut moulds (approx 4 teaspoons) then sprinkle with poppy seeds or any seed of your choice.

4Bake for 15-20 mins or until golden. Once baked, remove from doughnut tray and allow to cool on a rack before slicing in half. Top with your favourite sweet or savoury toppings.


1These will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
