Oaty Protein Breakfast Bars

Need a filling brekkie on the go? Our Oaty Protein Breakfast Bars are the perfect grab and go meal.

Packed full of healthy ingredients and just over 12g protein, 💪🏼 these bars will keep you going until your next meal.

½ a packet (175g) of Plant Based Protein Cookie Mix

½ cup (50g) shredded coconut

¼ cup (20g) sunflower seeds

½ cup (50g) flaked almonds

⅓ cup (30g) rolled oats

1 tablespoon Low Carb Icing

100g chopped dark chocolate (we used Lindt 90%)

70g melted butter

1/3 cup (80ml) milk of choice

2 eggs


If you're not a fan of dark chocolate, you can use Well Naturally Milk Chocolate 🙂


2Preheat oven at 160 degrees and line a small square cake tin

3In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients - cookie mix, flaked almonds, coconut, sunflower seeds, chopped chocolate, icing and oats. In another bowl combine the milk, melted butter and eggs.

4Combine the wet ingredients with the dry, gently fold together evenly then spread the mixture into a lined tray.

6Bake for 25 mins or until golden, then allow it to cool.

7Pop the slab in the fridge for 4 hrs minimum (this makes it easier to slice into bars). Slice into 10 bars.

8Serve at room temperature or pop in the microwave for 30 secs to warm it up.


1The bars will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. You may also wish to freeze them for up to 3 months. Thaw them out in the fridge overnight when needed.
