Mini sliders with a whopping 27.1g protein! These mini Aussie Burger sliders are a perfect addition to a weekend BBQ or quiet Friday night in.

  • Yields: 12 sliders

1 packet of 6 Australia Seeds Protein Bread Mix

1 1/2 cup (375ml) water

2 whole eggs

1 tablespoon of white vinegar (20ml)

Burger Fillings (enough for 12 sliders)

Mini Beef Patties (we purchased Meatballs from Woolworths 20 pk and combined to make 12 even patties)

1/2 white onion sliced and sautéed

100g drained sliced beetroot

20g lettuce

100g sliced cheddar (slices cut to fit the slider)

2 small tomatoes, sliced

6 rashers of cooked bacon, cut in half

Sugar free BBQ or tomato sauce (we used fountain brand)

1Preheat oven for 20 mins on 180 degrees.

2Empty contents of The Protein Bread Mix into large bowl. In separate bowl whisk together water, eggs and vinegar, pour wet mix into the dry mix and gently fold until just combined, set aside for 10 min to thicken slightly.

3Prepare two baking trays lining with baking paper.

4Dollop approximately 1/4 cup of mixture into tray, spacing apart. Using a spatular or hands gently mould mixture into rounds.

5Place in oven and cook for 20-25 mins, rotating halfway. Remove and refrigerate. (It is best to prepare burger buns ahead of time to allow refrigeration overnight before slicing each bun in half)

6BBQ or Fry beef patties and onion.

7Cut the mini buns in half and grill to prepare to assemble.

8Assemble sliders onto mini burger buns with lettuce, patties, cheese, bacon, onion, tomato, beetroot and sugar free tomato sauce (optional).
